Harriett Smith Donnell

Entered into eternal rest on the morning of August 28, 2010, Harriett Smith Donnell, wife of George B. Donnell.  Residence, Charleston, SC.  The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. George B. Donnell are invited to attend the funeral services of the latter on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at eleven o'clock in St. John's Lutheran Church.  Entombment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery.  Friends may call at J. HENRY STUHR INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL on Monday between five and seven o'clock.

Mrs. Donnell was born October 20, 1917 in Charleston, SC the daughter of William E. Smith and Bertha Likes Smith.  She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and the Emma S. Tovey Circle.  Mrs. Donnell and her husband were the owners of Donnell's Bicycle Shop on King Street in the 1950's.

She is survived by her husband of Charleston, SC; one daughter, Anita Donnell Mitchum (William) of Charleston, SC; one son, George B. Donnell, Jr. of Charleston, SC; one grandson, Scott Mitchum (Cristie) of Charleston, SC and two great grandchildren, Brooke and Andrew Mitchum.
