Harriet Clement Dawson

Entered into eternal rest on the morning of September 19, 2010, Harriet Clement Dawson, widow of Richard I. Dawson.  Residence, Johns Island, SC.  The relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL, Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at 3:00 p.m.  Interment, private.  Friends may call at Stuhr's Downtown Chapel one hour prior to service. 

Mrs. Dawson was born May 8, 1919 in Charleston, SC, the daughter of Francis Walpole Clement and Harriet Clement Clement. She was a graduate of Memminger High School and Rice Business School.  She was a member of St. James Episcopal Church on James Island, SC and attended the Church of the Holy Communion.  She was a charter member of the James Island Dance Club. 

She is survived by two daughters: Virginia D. Blunt and Harriet D. Campbell both of Johns Island, SC; three sons: Richard I. Dawson, Jr. (Penny) of Fort Mill, SC, William C. Dawson and E. Allen Dawson (Melissa) all of Johns Island, SC; one brother Francis W. Clement, Jr. of Charleston, SC; fourteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
