Harold George Peagler, Sr., 72, of North Charleston, SC, husband of Carolyn Lee Shook Peagler entered into eternal rest Sunday, January 10, 2021. His Graveside Funeral Service will be held Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Carolina Memorial Park, 7113 Rivers Avenue at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel 2180 Greenridge Road.
Harold was born January 17, 1948 in Saint George, SC, son of the late Laurie Peagler and the late Effie Lee Pendarvis Peagler. Served in the US Army and was a Vietnam veteran. He was a lifetime member of American Legion #112. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and love to cook barbecue. Harold was the owner of the "Mill Inn" of North Charleston for many years and Co-Owner of AAA-Electric.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Peagler of Summerville, SC; son, Harold G. Peagler, Jr. of Goose Creek, SC; daughter, Carol Jean Peagler (Brian) Walters of Eutawville, SC; two sisters, Jennie Lee (Alvin) Elliott of North Charleston, SC, Louise (Jeffrey) Parsons of Kingsland, GA; brother, Charles W. (Audrey) Peagler of Ladson, SC; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
