Harold Woodrow Isaacs, 88, of North Charleston, South Carolina, widower of Frieda Dorothea Isaacs died Tuesday, September 25, 2012. A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 29, 2012 in the J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:00 am until time of service. Burial will be private.

Mr. Isaacs was born February 18, 1924 in Post, Texas, son of the late Ed Isaacs and the late Alta Leona Grant. He was an Air Craft Mechanic with the USAF and Civil Service. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and was loved by all who knew him. We honor him and his service and dedication to his country. We are so proud of him and thankful for his compassion and sense of humor.

He is survived by his son, Michael H. Isaacs of North Charleston, SC; two daughters Judy Lopez and Jeri Isaacs both of Nipoma, CA; and granddaughters, Michele Isaacs, Krystle Isaacs, Julie Timmins, and Lori Meier, grandsons, David Hendrickson, and Jeff Corsi, great granddaughters, Kasey Padilla, and Jessica Timmins, great grandsons, Patrick Hendrickson, Mark Freeby, Matthew Freeby, Joseph Freeby, Grant Reid, Austin Reid, and Griffin Langiano.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to charity of one's choice.
