Harold Matthew Cochran, 85, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Pauline May Cochran entered into eternal rest Monday, November 18, 2013. His funeral service will be held Thursday, November 21, 2013, in John Wesley United Methodist Church, at 11:00 A.M. Interment, Live Oak Memorial Gardens The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 20, 2013, in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway.
Harold was born December 30, 1927 in Milan, Missouri, son of the late Glennie Cochran and Effie Brown Cochran. He was a teacher in Flint Michigan at Northern High School for 30 years. He was a member of The Gideons International.
He is survived by his wife, Pauline May Cochran of Charleston, SC; daughter, Diann Geisert (Richard) of Charleston, SC; two sons, Daniel Cochran (Janice) of Chilaquine, OR and son Timothy Cochran (Rebecca) of Charleston, SC; sister Donna Sloan of Milan, MO; sister-in-law Betty Cochran of Milan, MO; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his three brothers, Kenneth Cochran, Victor Cochran and Carl Cochran and sister Evelyn Williams.
