Harold Burnett Bowick

Harold Burnett Bowick, 81, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Joan Mason Bowick entered into eternal rest Sunday, April 19, 2015. His Funeral Service will be held Thursday, April 23, 2015 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 1:00 pm. The family will receive friends in Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel Thursday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service. Interment will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens.

Harold was born October 2, 1933 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of the late Travis Bowick and Mattie Davis Bowick. Harold retired from the US Army after 20 years of service. He was a Environmentalist with the Charleston County Health Dept.

He is survived by his wife, Joan Bowick of Charleston, SC; son, Michael Burnett Bowick of Charleston, SC, Step-son, William Diaz of Charleston, SC; two step-daughters, Yvette Elizabeth Diaz of Waynesville, NC, Suzette Marie Babb of Henderson, NC; sister, Ethel Ritter of Charleston, SC, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, three extended grandchildren, Todd, Jonathan and Harley Faust.
