Harmon Troy Baldwin

Harmon Troy Baldwin, 78, of Johns Island, South Carolina, husband of Frances Judy Wofford Baldwin entered into eternal rest Thursday, February 23, 2017. His Memorial Service will be held Sunday, February 26, 2017 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 3:00 p.m. The family will receive friends Sunday in Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service.

Harmon was born October 22, 1938 in Pocotaligo, South Carolina, son of Bessie Caddin Baldwin and the late James Howard Baldwin. He was a USAF Veteran, and retired Conductor with CSX Railroad. Troy was a member of the America Camelia Society. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Frances Judy Baldwin of Johns Island, SC, mother, Bessie Matilda Baldwin; son, Clifton Wade Baldwin (Cheryl) of New Orleans, LA; daughter, Alicia Baldwin Morrow (David) of Charleston, SC; five brothers, J.C. Baldwin (Joyce) of Charleston, SC, Kenneth Baldwin (Opal), Frank "Jimmy" Baldwin both of Ravenel, SC, Jeff Baldwin (Rosanne) of Adams Run, SC, Jay Baldwin (Linda) of Younges Island, SC; sister, Judy Rodgers (Billy) of Meggett, SC; two grandchildren, Grant and Alden Morrow.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Johns Island, 3483 Maybank Hwy., Johns Island, SC 29455 and/or a Charity of one's choice.
