Harald Karl Hille, 95, resident of Summit Place on Daniel Island, South Carolina and formerly of Kettering, Ohio died Thursday, January 17, 2019. His Celebration of life will be held Thursday, January 24, 2019 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road from 2:00 to 4:00 pm.
Harald was born August 17, 1923 in Neustadt, Germany. He worked as an electrical engineer for many years in Kettering, Ohio before moving to Daniel Island to be closer to his family.
He is survived by three sons, Rolf G. Hille (Ruth) of Charleston, SC, Hauke Hille (Maggie) of Charlotte, NC, and Holger Hille (Jennifer) of Seattle, WA; four grandchildren, Christopher Hille (Valarie) of San Antonio, TX, Tara Hall (Bryan) of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Miles Hille and Kevin Hille, both of Seattle, WA; and ten great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Hela Hille.
