Hadley Page Kaloupek, age 15, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina entered into eternal rest on Sunday, November 1, 2026.

Hadley was born at East Cooper Hospital on June 1, 2011. She grew up in the Old Village of Mount Pleasant, SC with her loving parents, Jeff and Erin Kaloupek and her loving younger brother, Kelly Kaloupek. At an early age, Hadley would pop out of bed in the morning as if she were shot out of a cannon. Her unabated exuberance for life and excitement for the day was all encompassing. Her parents lovingly referred to her personality as “awesomely exhausting”. She had endless curiosity and would continue asking questions until she felt she understood the full answer.

Growing up in the low country, Hadley loved the outdoors, especially campouts. She tried fishing too, though Hadley was often more interested in playing with the “Squirmy McWormies” than she was waiting for a fish to bite.

Hadley proved to be a highly intelligent and astute academic. She attended elementary school at Mount Pleasant Academy, middle school at The University School of the Lowcountry and was currently in her sophomore year at Academic Magnet High School. She was an “all A” student the whole way, with an occasional “B” thrown in the mix. She genuinely liked studying as much as any child can. When Hadley took the PSATs for the first time in 8th grade, she took pride in scoring higher than one of her parents ever did.

As Hadley moved into her teens, her creativity and articulate nature flourished through imaginative stories and poems. She was proud to have been awarded a Silver Key and Honorable Mention award for her writing from the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. She was also awarded second place in the Youth Essay Competition from the Veterans of Foreign Wars. She loved theater. While she joined Musical Theater Company later than most of her peers, Hadley was a quick study. She was especially thrilled rehearsing this year’s production of Beetlejuice.

Hadley was a proud Girl Scout and had received the Silver Award along with a few of her friends in the troop. She was in the Dungeons and Dragons club at school and looked forward to co-leading the Creative Writing Club next year. She recently joined the Climbing Club as well.

Hadley loved her friends. She loved a mile deep. One of her favorite things to do was get up early on her friends’ birthdays so that she could be the first one to text them “Happy Birthday”. Her close friends and family knew what an incredible human being Hadley was and were looking forward to watching the rest of the world to find out as well.

Hadley leaves behind her loving parents and brother. Her grandparents, John & Linda Kelly and Tom & Nancy Kaloupek, were deeply embedded in her everyday life as were her aunts,

uncles and cousins: Brad and Heidi Kaloupek reside on Isle of Palms. Hadley looked forward to her next surf outing with Uncle Brad (aka “Buncle Rad” as she recently called him). Jim and Beth Von St. Paul and their children, Amanda and Bennett reside in Virginia Beach. Family vacations with the Von St. Paul’s were always a highlight, as Hadley’s bond with her older cousins was ever present.

Hadley also maintained an especially unique and close bond with her cousin, Naish Kaloupek. A kind and brave soul, Naish passed away in March 2026 after his 18-month battle against cancer.

Arrangements are being handled by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc in coordination with St. Andrews Anglican Church, located at 440 Whilden St. Mount Pleasant, SC. A funeral service open to all that knew and loved Hadley will be held at St. Andrews on Tuesday November 10th at 4:30 PM. A Celebration of Life will be planned for a later date.

Hadley’s family needs nothing other than your love, support and prayer at this time. For those that do wish to contribute, a memorial fund will be established in Hadley’s memory. Until the fund is established, any donations can be made to https://www.gofundme.com/f/hadley-kaloupek?cp_src=d.
