H. Boykin Hughes, Jr., 71, of Charleston, South Carolina, passed away peacefully in his home Friday, April 28, 2017. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel.
Boykin was born February 1, 1946 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of the late Hamilton Boykin Hughes and Mary Cecilia Banks Hughes. He graduated from Rivers High School in 1964 and from Charleston Southern University in 1968. Boykin was loved by his neighbors and friends and by his two cats. He was a supporter of numerous conservational organizations and he enjoyed being a part of the film industry in Charleston. He will be dearly missed.
Graveside services will be held Friday, May 5, 2017 in Riverview Memorial Park at 10:00 a.m.
