Gwendolyn Ann "Gwen" Justice Heider

Entered into eternal rest on the afternoon of May 27, 2012, Gwendolyn P. Heider, wife of Michael L. Heider. Residence, Charleston, SC. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Michael L. Heider are invited to attend the funeral services of the latter Thursday, May 31, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL. The family will receive friends at Stuhr's between 6:00 and 7:00 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will be private.

Gwen was born July 23, 1947 in Van, West Virginia, a daughter of Doris Irene Porter. She was a flight attendant with Comair.

She is survived by her husband, Mike of 16 ½ years of Charleston, SC; two daughters: Carol P. Shelley and her husband, Joe, of Hanahan, SC and Anita P. von Lehe and her husband, Jim, of Charleston, SC; one sister: Katrinka Canning, and her husband, Mack, of Charleston, SC; two grandchildren: Rachel Ann Shelley and Madeline Ann Richards; father and mother-in-law: James and Carolyn Heider of Charleston, SC.
