Guerard "Sonny" Fuller Brown, Jr., 78, of Johns Island, South Carolina, husband of the late Joanne Brown died Thursday, April 21, 2016. His Funeral Service will be held Saturday, April 30, 2016 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road at 5:00 pm. Inurnment will be in Beaufort National Cemetery at a later date with military honors.

Sonny was born May 26, 1937 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of the late Guerard Fuller Brown, Sr. and the late Caroline Summers Brown. He attended the University of South Carolina and served in the United States Army overseas. He was a real estate agent with Carolina One Realty, was a member of the American Legion Post 179 and VFW Post 3137.

He is survived by daughter, Virginia G. Brown of Goose Creek, SC; son, Guerard "Hardy" Fuller Brown, III of Ridgeville, SC; two brothers, George Brown and Emory Brown; and two sisters, Caroline Williams and Virginia Henderson.
