Guendelyne was born June 18, 1935, in Miami Dade County, Florida, daughter of the late Scarvin Z D’Armand and Guendelyne Taval Sanders D’Armand. Guen was a pillar to both her church and family. Her goals in life were to serve her God, and love and protect her family. She was committed to working with children in both her work and church. Guen worked for many years managing and operating child daycares. She served in many positions in her church but always had a passion for the children. Whether serving as Pathfinder director, community outreach, or on the church and school boards, her experience was invaluable to the operations of the church. Her knowledge and leadership will be missed.
Guen survives with her children, R. Clark Higginbotham III, wife Rebecca Higginboham, Colette Epps, Deirdre H. Hayes, husband Henry L. Hayes Jr., Daryl E. Higginbotham, wife Angela Higginbotham, and son-in-law Dr. Jeffrey J. Jaindl. She was preceded in death by her husband and her daughter Delyne Zubose Jaindl. Guen will be lovingly remembered by her 9 Grandchildren, Erin S. Wheatley (Ryan), R. Clark Higginbotham IV (Page), Adrienne Cousson (Kenneth), Jessica A. King (David), Steven J. Jaindl, Henry L (Trey) Hayes III, Daryl E. (Evan) Higginbotham II (Nikki), Brendan G. Hayes, Rachel A. Johnson (Derek) and Great Grandchildren Ryder, Evie, Quinn, Jane, Alex, Colson, and Grady.
