Grover Hadley Quick

Grover Hadley "Bubba" Quick, 68, of Ladson, South Carolina, husband of Deborah Diane White Quick died Saturday, February 3, 2018. His family will receive friends Monday, February 5, 2018 at J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The graveside service will be held June 13, 2018 at Riverview Memorial Park at 2:00 pm.

Born June 13, 1949 in Columbia, South Carolina, he was one of eight children of the late Eugene Hadley Quick and the late Martha Ann Pankey Quick. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Bubba worked as a plumber and enjoyed woodwork, dancing, fishing, scuba diving, and surfing. He was also a history buff.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Debbie; son, Tommy Quick of Ladson, SC; three daughters: Dawn Marie Convery (Mike) of Orlando, FL; Tiffany Velez (Daniel) of Summerville, SC; Crystal Quick Terry of Ladson, SC; grandchildren: Matthew Convery, Daphane Kelly, Presten Velez, Landon Velez, Hadley Terry; three sisters: Bobbie Jean Strickland, Martha Ann Lester, Shirley Eugene Genne.
