Gregory H Whitehair

Gregory H. Whitehair, 62, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Sandra L. Snyder entered into eternal rest Monday, August 17, 2020. Greg had been under hospice care for several months.
Gregory was born April 20, 1958 in Charleston, West Virginia, son of the late Jack Whitehair and Grace Haas Whitehair.
Greg was a graduate of Herbert Hoover High School class of 1976. He was also number 76 on the Herbert Hoover Football team. He would tell stories of his football days at Hoover and he loved his team mates, coaches and friends. After the WV flood of 2016 he reconnected with many his Husky friends.
Greg is a graduate of West Virginia State College where he obtained a Business Associates Degree. Greg moved to South Carolina from West VIrginia in the late 80's and was co-owner of the JJ Deep Sea Fishing business. After his fishing career ended, he got into the fencing business at Freedom Fence Co.
Greg is survived by his wife, Sandra L Snyder of Charleston, SC; his sons Greg Jones and Mark Jones of Charleston, WV; and his niece, Christina West of Mt. Pleasant, SC. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Linda West.
At Greg's request there will be no services. He would just want you to remember the good times and think of him once in a while and smile. Sail on Captain Greg!
