Gregory Alan Faulk

Gregory Alan Faulk, 69, of Ravenel, South Carolina, husband of Donna Sands Faulk, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Tuesday, April 1, 2025. His Memorial Service will be held Sunday, April 6, 2025 at Grace on the Ashley Baptist Church, 2025 Bees Ferry Road at 4:00 pm. The family will receive friends and family on Sunday, one hour prior to the service at 3:00 pm.

Greg was born February 29, 1956 in Augusta, Georgia, son of the late Charlie Faulk and Joyce Williamson. He called Charleston home for nearly 40 years after moving here for work following hurricane Hugo in 1989 alongside his family. He worked hard as a skilled carpenter for more than 50 years. There wasn't much he couldn't do with a piece of wood and a skill-saw.

Greg loved the lowcountry and all it had to offer, especially fishing with his son, Anthony. Don't ask where their spots were; they would never tell you. More recently, his favorite thing to do was to spend time with his grandson, Ford. He was the best papa and nothing lit his face up more than Ford running straight for him.

Greg was married to his wife and best friend, Donna, for more than 39 years. Together, they enjoyed their family, working in the yard and being involved with their church. If the doors were open, Greg was probably there. He loved the church, its members and more than anything else, Christ. Christ is where his hope rested and Who he is face-to-face with now. There is no greater reward, and he knew that.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his Sons, David Faulk and Anthony Faulk (Jordan); Grandchildren, Ford and Kate Faulk; Sisters, Deborah Williamson (Leonard) and Linda Hoff (Jerry); and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Joyce.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace on the Ashley Church Building Fund or The Lowcountry Biblical Counseling Center
