Gregory Thomas Dahlen, 76, of North Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Minda Cervantes Dahlen entered into eternal rest Wednesday, May 29, 2024. His Funeral Service will be held Monday, June 3, 2024 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at 2:00 pm at Beaufort National Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, June 2, 2024 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel.
Gregory was born October 5, 1947 in Decorah, Iowa, son of the late Ove Dahlen and the late Ada Shervin. He loved his church and his dog, Whitey. Gregory enjoyed spending time catching up with family and friends. He collected coins and gave to many charities.
In addition to his wife Minda of 28 years, he is survived by children: Tonya Dahlen of MN, Erin Platfoot of Atlanta, GA, Monica Smith (Fredrick) of San Antonio, TX, Michelle Medrano of San Antonio, TX and Rey Cervantes of San Antonio, TX; eleven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; siblings: Randel and Susan; and many loved nieces and nephews.
