Grace Elizabeth "Micky" Jerome

Grace Elizabeth "Micky" Jerome, 62, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, wife of David John Bailey died Wednesday, March 9, 2016. Her funeral Mass will be held Friday, March 18, 2016 in the St. Benedict Catholic Church, 950 Darrell Creek Trail at 11:00 am. Inurnment will be held in Rock Island National Cemetery, Rock Island, IL at a later date. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL.

Micky earned her doctoral degree from the Medical University of South Carolina, received her MBA from Southern Illinois University and bachelor degree from the University of Rhode Island. She was the former Director of Pharmacy at John Deere Medical Group of the Quad Cities and Director of Pharmacy for United Medical Group in Moline, IL. She was founder and co-owner of Quad City Dog Center, and active with dog agility training. Micky was born April 12, 1953 in Lackawanna, New York, daughter of the late David Joseph Jerome and the late Grace Jeanette Schumacher Jerome.

She is survived by her husband of 19 years David J. Bailey; daughter, Laura "Lizzy" Martinez of St. Louis, MO; son, Daniel Martinez (Rae Downing) of Edwardsville, IL; step daughter, Whitney Linnberg (Jeff) of Blue Grass, IA; step son, Justin Bailey (Allyson) of Rock Island, IL; two grandsons, Maximus Bailey, Bryce Bailey; two brothers, David Jerome (Donna) of Augusta, GA, Kevin Jerome (Debbie Clark); sister, Kathleen Cunningham of Skylarville, NY.
