Grace Thelma Walker Causey

Grace Thelma Walker Causey, 91, of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, wife of the late Willard Benjamin Causey passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2013. The relatives and friends of Grace Causey are invited to attend her Funeral Service on Saturday, April 20, 2013 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL at 3:00 pm. Burial will follow in Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the Mount Pleasant Chapel on Saturday, April 20, 2013.

Grace was born on September 20, 1921 in New Hebron, Mississippi, daughter of the late Richard and Ruby Pearl Wiggington Walker. She was a homemaker and a long time member of First Baptist Church of Mt. Pleasant, where she volunteered and sang in the chorus. To her family and friends, Grace was known as a wonderful old-fashioned Southern cook.

She is survived by her sons, Bruce W. Causey, Sr. and his wife, Sandy of Mount Pleasant, SC, Richard O. Causey of Cordesville, SC, and Scott Causey of Anderson, SC; her step-son, Robert A. Causey and his wife, Mary of Awendaw, SC; her step-daughter, Bobbie Jean Kelly of Scranton, SC; her grandchildren, Tammy Anderson and her husband, Jeff of Mt. Pleasant, SC, and Bruce W. Causey, Jr. of Mt. Pleasant, SC; and her great granddaughters, Haley Cloyd of Columbia, SC, Katie Cloyd of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Chandler Anderson of Johns Island, SC, and Holland Cloyd of Mt. Pleasant, SC.
