Entered into eternal rest on the morning of February 16, 2012, Glorian Elizabeth Smith Parker, wife of Jimmy Parker. Residence, North Charleston, SC. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Parker are invited to attend the funeral services of the latter, Sunday, February 19, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTH AREA CHAPEL. Interment, Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Stuhr's North Area Chapel Saturday between 5:00 and 7:00 P.M.

Mrs. Parker was born February 9, 1941 in Hartsville, SC, the daughter of Laurin McSwain Smith and Bonnie Mae Grant Smith. She was a manager of Southern Loans and a member of Portside Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 25 years; one son, Michael Shirley of Charleston, SC; one daughter, Traci Pillow (Tommy) of Lexington, SC; one brother, Laurin "Hugh" Smith (Cheryl) of Orangeburg, SC; one sister, Linda Cannon (Tom) of Summerville, SC; three grandchildren, Sarah Shirley, Braden Pillow and Devon Pillow; and several nieces and nephews.
