Gloria Tower Wiggins

Gloria Tower Wiggins, 93, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, October 30, 2024. Her graveside service will be held Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at the New Wappetaw Presbyterian Church Cemetary, 952-1004 Old Cemetary Rd, McClellanville South Carolina at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends Monday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel, 1494 Mathis Ferry Rd, Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.

Gloria was born August 4, 1931 in Ponce, Puerto Rico, daughter of the late Confesor Torres and the late Carmen Zepata Torres. She graduated from the Ponce Puerto Rico High School and spent twenty years working for the Navy Exchange at the Charleston Naval Base, Charleston, South Carolina.

She is survived by four children, Gloria Ann Wiggins of Mount Pleasant, SC, LeRoy Kenneth Wiggins (Debbie) of Mount Pleasant, SC, Nina Marie Barcus (Charles) of Stafford, VA, and David Scott Wiggins of Charleston, SC, four grandchildren, Steven, Matthew, Charles, Hannah, and four great-grandchildren, Sebastion, Ainsley, Emma, and Carter. She was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Memminger Lampkin Wiggins.
