Gloria Taylor, 73, of Goose Creek, SC died Wednesday, January 4, 2012, peacefully at home.
Born November 17, 1938 in Altoona, PA she was one of five children of John James Glacken and Pauline Elizabeth Wogan Glacken.
Mrs. Taylor is survived by four children: Roxanne Enman and her husband Wesley of Lisbon Falls, ME, Kenneth R. Taylor, Jr. and his wife Linda of Cedar Lake, IN, Michael Taylor and his wife Terry of Dorchester, SC and Janice Collins and her husband Jeffrey of Ridgeland, SC; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Charles Glacken and his wife Shirley and John Glacken and his wife Katie. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Robert Taylor, Sr.; and two brothers, Robert "Bob" and Thomas Glacken.
The funeral service will be held in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road, Saturday, January 7, 2012 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends in Stuhr's Northwoods Chapel Saturday one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Agape Hospice, 9301 Medical Plaza Drive North Charleston, SC 29406.
