Gloria Eloise Beckley

Gloria Eloise Beckley, 87, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Orvil Eugene Beckley, went home to be with the Lord Friday, October 19, 2012. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, October 21, 2012 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL (3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway), at 3:00 pm. Interment services will be held Saturday, October 27, 2012 in Brick Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery, Brick Chapel, IN. The family will receive friends Sunday, October 21, 2012 in Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel between 1:00 until 3:00 pm.

Gloria was born October 10, 1925 in Park County, IN, daughter of the late James Rice and Pearl McCutcheon Rice. She was a retired Data Systems Analyst for IBM. Gloria was a member of Grace United Methodist Church as well as an avid golfer and music lover.

She is survived by her four children, Stephen Beckley (Lana), Linda Robbins of Jacksonville, FL, Nancy Stelow of Mechanicsburg, PA, David Beckley (Carolyn) of Newport News, VA; a sister, Merle Butler of Ladoga, IN; 9 grandchildren, Jeff Parsons, John Hergenroeder, Rhonda H. Bonello, Gloria Beckley, Amanda Robbins, Lucas Beckley, Daniel Beckley, Mykle Beckley, Julie Eichenlaub, and 8 great-grandchildren, Emma, Ben, Madison, Alexis, Makayla, Danny, Davey, and Samantha.
