Glenn Wayne Mitchum

Glenn Wayne Mitchum, 72, of Jamestown, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Saturday, July 13, 2024. His memorial service will be held July 24, 2024, in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Mt. Pleasant Chapel. 1494 Mathis Ferry Rd. at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. 

Glenn was born June 13, 1952, in Charleston, South Carolina, son of the late Joyner Mitchum Sr. and Frances Gaskins Mitchum. 

He is survived by his two sons, Michael Anthony Mitchum (Marian), Nicholas Wayne Mitchum; two daughters, Nicole Jean Mitchum Grant, Ravin Floyd East (Ryan); 9 brothers and sister, James Melvin Hillsman (Joyce), Virginia May Tice (Jack), Joyner Mitchum, Jr. (Judy), Mazie Earleen Lind, Frances Elaine Fleming (Randy), Jearl Houston Mitchum (Lillian), Joan Dale Altman, Annette Mitchum Rutledge, JoAnn Mitchum Durgin (Gary); 9 grandchildren, Cindy Mitchum, Bradley Willis, Austin Mitchum, Abigail Weathers, Ty'anna Torres, Haylee Baber, Jason Baber Jr., Leeyam East, Morgan East; and 2 great grandchildren, Brantley Mills, Maverick Campbell. 

He is predeceased by a sister, Mary Elizabeth Crowe; 2 great grandchildren, Dawson Edward - Chase Mitchum, and Breille Elise Mitchum.
