Glenn Dale Chrise

Glenn Dale Chrise, Sr., 70, of James Island, SC, entered into eternal rest. A Gathering of Friends will be held Friday, January 27, 2012 at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.

Born on April 17, 1941 in Union, Pennsylvania, Glenn was the son of the late Scott and Emma Chrise. He was a veteran serving in the United States Navy and was a retired Superintendent with the Swygert Ship Yard. Glenn was a member of the VFW and a former member of the Charleston Shag Club.

Surviving are his children, Glenn Chrise, Jr. of James Island and Kimberly Hill and husband Russell of Ridgeville; a brother, Allen Chrise and wife Pat of Union, PA; three grandsons, Glenn "Trey" Chrise, III, Michael Gregory Chrise, and Henry Glenn "Hank" Dennis.

Memorials may be made in his memory to the American Lung Association in South Carolina, 44-A Markfield Drive, Charleston, SC 29407.
