Glenn "Buddy" Edwin Baldwin, II

Glenn "Buddy" Edwin Baldwin, II, 37, of Summerville, South Carolina, husband of Katie Baldwin and father of Sullivan "Sully" Mack, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, August 28, 2022. His Memorial Service will be held Saturday, September 3, 2022 in the Charleston Baptist Church, 13 San Miguel Road, at 2:00 pm. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel.

Buddy was born July 18, 1985 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of Glenn E. Baldwin, Sr. and Alma Prince Baldwin. He attended high school at St. Paul's Country Day School in Hollywood, South Carolina. Buddy served as a firefighter and EMT with the "C-shift" of Engine 108 on Huger Street in Charleston, South Carolina. Later, he joined his father at Baldwin Woodworks, LLC. In November 2019, Buddy married the love of his life, Katie, and later welcomed their precious son, Sully, in 2021. A devoted husband and father, Buddy loved snuggling with his wife and son every morning, throwing the ball with Sully, and teaching Sully how to feed their dogs, Drake and Stew.  Buddy enjoyed being on the Edisto River, fishing all over the Lowcountry, and duck hunting with his dog Stew.  An avid sports fan, Buddy loved to cheer for the Atlanta Braves and Clemson football. Buddy never met a stranger, and always saw the best in people.

In addition to his wife, son and parents, Buddy is survived by his sisters, Amy Baldwin Neely (Chris); Elizabeth "Betsy" Wilkinson (Monte); nephews Ian and Logan Neely; nieces Jenna and Macie Wilkinson; mother-in-law Carol Anderson Hurt; father-in-law David Hurt; and sister-in-law Joanna Hurt. He is also survived by many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.
