Glenn James Andrews, 93, of Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Thursday, December 31, 2020.
Mr. Andrews served in the United States Navy and retired as a Chief Petty Officer. He was a Korean War Veteran serving on many ships during his service and retired off the SSBN624 USS Woodrow Wilson. After retirement he loved to play golf and enjoyed working at several golf courses in his lifetime.
He is survived by his loving wife of 72 years, Eloise Vance Andrews of Charleston, SC; his daughter, Jeanie Camden of Charleston, SC; son, Gary Andrews (Lee) of CA; granddaughter, Tammy Gill (Jonathan) of Charleston, SC; grandson, Jason Phelps (Judit) of WA; and great-grandchildren, Christopher Johnson (Ansley) and Emma Johnson.
A celebration of love will be arranged at a later time. Arrangements to be made by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Pkwy, Charleston, SC 29414.
In lieu of flowers the family wishes that you donate to a local veterans home or to the Alzheimer's Association.
