Glenford "Glen"
Stoltzfus
November 1, 1977 – May 14, 2026
12Stone Church Summerville
Starts at 10:37 am (Eastern time)
Glenford “Glen” Stoltzfus, 48, was called home unexpectedly on May 14, 2026. Born in Lancaster, PA, he was most recently residing in Moncks Corner, SC. He was the son of Elmer and Fannie (Glick) Stoltzfus and the dearly-loved husband of Kimberly (Shank) Stoltzfus.
Glen grew up as a member of Weavertown Amish Mennonite Church. He attended Linville Hill Mennonite School and graduated from Faith Mennonite High School. He was a diligent and skilled craftsman in furniture and cabinetry.
Glen loved playing club volleyball and church softball. He especially enjoyed being outdoors — whether camping, biking, or birding. He even biked across the US with two friends in 6wks armed only with flip phones. In South Carolina, he found a loving church family at 12Stone Church Summerville, where he faithfully served on the parking team.
Glen was humble, kind, and quiet, often described as a “gentle giant.” He will also be remembered for his warm smile, quick wit, and dry humor that brought joy to those around him.
He is survived by his parents, Elmer and Fannie Stoltzfus; his brother, Gerald Stoltzfus and sister, Gwenette of Lancaster, PA; his sister, Gen Hofmeister-Stoltzfus and husband Heath of Raritan, NJ; six nieces and nephews, Harlie Ellsworth (Stoltzfus) and husband Trevor, Quinton and wife Kaley, Lucus, Brisa, Xander, and Zylah; and four great-nieces and nephews, Caroline, Carter, Charlie, and Kasey. He is also survived by his wife, Kim, and their three quirky cats, Niko, Romi, and Annemiek.
Though deeply missed, Glen’s family finds comfort in the hope of Christ and the promise of eternal life.
A Celebration of Life service for friends and family will be held June 6, 2026 at 10:37 a.m. at 12Stone Church Summerville, 2102 State Rd, Summerville, SC 29486.
