Glenariah Esther Gauslin Pilie'

Mrs. Glenariah Esther Gauslin Pilié, 88, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Edwin M. Pilié, Sr., entered into eternal rest Monday, October 7, 2013. Her Funeral Service will be held Thursday, October 10, 2013 in Charleston Baptist Church, 13 San Miguel Road at 11:00 am. Interment, Riverview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in J. HENRY STUHR, INC. WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway.

Glenariah was born November 9, 1924 in New Orleans, Louisiana, daughter of Joseph Martin Gauslin, Jr. and Anna Esther Bruser Gauslin. She was retired from General Electric.

She is survived by her son, Edwin M. Pilié Jr. (Brenda) of Marrero, LA; daughter, Gwendolyn Boudreaux of Gretna, LA; a sister, Artemese Gauslin Greene of Charleston; 10 grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Judy Pilié Utnick and Debra Pilié; two sisters, Evelyn Gauslin Huber and Anna Gauslin Nunez; and two brothers, Hughie Gauslin and Joseph Gauslin.
