Gladys Brown Knight

Entered into eternal rest on the evening of May 1, 2011, Gladys Rebecca Brown Knight, widow of the late Clarence Tillman Knight.  Residence, Charleston, SC.  The relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at St. Andrew's Parish United Methodist Church at 11 am.  Burial will follow at Live Oak Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL this Tuesday afternoon from 5 until 7 pm.

Mrs. Knight was born in Mullins, South Carolina on November 4, 1926, daughter of the late Robert Luther Brown and the late Fleetwood Duval Webster Brown.  She was a retired bookkeeper with Winn-Dixie Grocery Store and was a very active and dedicated member of St. Andrew's Parish United Methodist Church and absolutely loved her church family.

Surviving are a daughter, Lynn O'Quinn of Ladson; a sister, Dorothy Brown Crapse of Charleston; two grandchildren, Eric Knight and Rebecca O'Quinn Owens; and a great grandchild, Makaila Rebecca Owens.  Mrs. Knight was preceded in death by a son, Robert Allen Knight and a brother, Robert Claude Brown.
