Ginger Stith, 71, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, wife of Paul Stith died Friday, January 4, 2019. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, January 8, 2019 in Christ Our King Catholic Church, 1149 Russell Drive at 10:30 am. Rite of Committal will follow in Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens, 1308 Mathis Ferry Road, Mt. Pleasant. The family will receive friends in J. HENRY STUHR. INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road on Monday, January 7, 2019 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm. Rosary will be recited at 6:00 pm.
Ginger was born August 13, 1947 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late William Francis Davey and the late Charlotte Coleman Davey. She graduated from Bishop England High School and Winthrop University. Ginger taught for 42 years at Bishop England High School and Christ Our King-Stella Maris School. She was a member of Christ Our King Catholic Church and was an avid Clemson fan.
She is survived by her husband, Paul Stith of Mt. Pleasant, SC; two daughters, Michelle Stith and Ginny Stith, both of Mount Pleasant, SC; sister, Sally Davey Koleba (John) of Virginia Beach, VA; brother, William "Billy" F. Davey, Jr. (Marilyn) of Mount Pleasant, SC; and her extended family members.
