Gilbert Nicholas Longo

Gilbert Nicholas Longo, 83, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, husband of the late Rena Rampy Longo died Tuesday, December 24, 2013. The relatives and friends of Gilbert Longo are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Monday, December 30, 2013 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL at 12:00 noon. Interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Gilbert was born on February 19, 1930 in Toronto, Canada, son of the late Roy Longo and the late Valerie Seitz Longo Cordingley. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a retired Administrator for HUD Federal Housing.

He is survived by son, Randal A. Longo and his wife, Tracy, of Mount Pleasant, SC; sister, Sally Penland of Franklin, NC; and brother, Don Longo of Michigan.

His sister, Maureen James of Canada, has already passed.
