Gertrude Cole Brazil

Gertrude Cole Brazil, 98, wife of the late Leonard A. Brazil passed away on Monday, June 13, 2011. The relatives and friends of Gertrude Brazil are invited to attend her Funeral Service on Thursday, June 16, 2011 in J. HENRY STUHR MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL at 2:00 p.m. Entombment will be private. The family will receive friends in the Mt. Pleasant Chapel on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 from 6:00 until 7:30 p.m. 

Mrs. Brazil was born December 26, 1912 in Hot Springs, Arkansas, daughter of the late William Carl Cole and Martha Ellen Hale Cole. She was a retired clerk with the Rock Island Railroad. She was a member of Hibben United Methodist Church at Mt. Pleasant, SC.

 She is survived by her daughter, Martha B. Trice and her husband, Bill, of Mt. Pleasant, SC and a son, William O. Brazil and his wife, Carolyn, of Blairsville, GA; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

 In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Hibben United Methodist Church, 690 Coleman Blvd., Mt. Pleasant, SC  29464.
