Gerryann Clark Smith, 85, of Charleston, South Carolina, wife of Samuel H. Smith, Sr., entered into eternal rest Saturday, January 27, 2018. The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 30, 2018 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Her Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at the graveside in Crescent Hills Memorial Gardens, 2603 Two Notch Road, Columbia, SC 29204 at 11:00 a.m.

Gerryann was born January 09, 1933 in Columbia, South Carolina, daughter of the late Owens LeMar Clark and Opal Rogers Clark. She was a graduate of Beaufort High School; attended Newberry College. Gerryann enjoyed music, art, and being a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Samuel H. Smith, Sr. of Charleston, SC; two sons, Samuel H. Smith, Jr., of Charleston, SC, Carson C. Smith (Gail) of Goose Creek, SC; daughter, Sheri S. Lewis (Richard) of Hillsville, VA; six grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Crescent Hospice, 4401 Belle Oaks Dr, North Charleston, SC 29405.
