Geraline "Jerry" Wactor Harbeson Francis

Geraline "Jerry" Wactor Harbeson Francis, 89, of North Charleston, SC, widow of Charles G. Francis, Sr., entered into eternal rest Friday, November 2, 2012. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, November 7, 2012 in Carolina Memorial Park, 7113 Rivers Avenue, at 1:00 pm. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road.

Jerry was born January 10, 1923 in Elloree, South Carolina, one of three children of the late Charles Daniel Harbeson and Elise Wactor Harbeson. She was a graduate of Elloree High School and a longtime employee of Edwards Department Store. Jerry was a member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxillary.

She is survived by her two daughters, Patricia Ann Beckham (Joe) of Pensacola, FL and Barbara Ellen Watkins of North Charleston; grandchildren, Richard Beckham (Denise), Kenneth Beckham, Kathy Anderson (Scott), Chuck Francis, Michael Watkins (Nancy) and David Watkins; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Charles G. Francis, Jr.; a brother, Charles L. Harbeson; and a sister, Margaret H. James.
