Geraldine Murray Spivey Meadows, 85, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of the late William A. Spivey and wife of Eugene Meadows, entered into eternal rest Friday, May 7, 2021. Her funeral service will be at the graveside Wednesday, May 12, 2021 in Live Oak Memorial Gardens, 3093 Ashley River Road at 1:00 p.m. A visitation will be held Tuesday, May 11, 2021 in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. where masks and social distancing will be observed.

Geraldine was born March 24, 1936 in Moncks Corner, South Carolina, daughter of the late Edward Elias and Wilhelmena Murray. She graduated from Columbia College and the Roper School of Nursing and was a retired nurse from the Roper St. Francis Hospital System.

She is survived by her husband, Eugene Meadows of Charleston, SC; two daughters, Pamela Karen Spivey of James Island, SC and Elizabeth S. Hopkins (Sheridan) of Charleston, SC; a son, Marty Spivey (Kimberly) of Wadmalaw Island, SC; a brother, Wendell Murray of Ohio; and many beloved grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Christopher A. Spivey, and a brother, Edward Murray.
