Gerald G. Weiler, Sr.

Gerald G. Weiler, Sr. "Jerry", 74, of Summerville, South Carolina, widower of Linda Cress Weiler, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, November 4, 2020. His Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at 3:00pm at the Summerville Baptist Church, 417 Central Avenue, Summerville, SC, 29483. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel.
Jerry was born May 12, 1946 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, son of the late Clarence E. Weiler and Millicent Hutchins Weiler. He was a proud technician with the AC Heating & Air Conditioning Company of Charleston until his retirement. He was an active member of the Summerville Baptist Church and a previous member of Charleston Baptist and Sycamore Baptist Churches in Charleston, which he attended with his wife and children. Jerry was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, friend and Follower of Jesus Christ.
He is survived by two sons, Gerald G. (Juanita) Weiler, Jr. of Savannah, GA and Jamie Weiler of Summerville, SC; one daughter, Jessica Weiler of Hanahan, SC; grandchildren, Skye, Gerald G. "Trey" III, and Carolina Weiler (of Gerald Jr. and Juanita) and Conner Requidan (of Jessica); two brothers, Edward and Gary Weiler.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, daughter (Mary Joanne Ratliff), and brother (Gregory Weiler).
Flowers will be accepted, or a memorial may be made in his name to Summerville Baptist Church, 417 Central Avenue, Summerville, SC, 29483.
