Gerald Robert Smith, 73, of Johns Island, SC, husband of Cheryl Francis Smith entered into eternal rest Saturday, February 28, 2015. His Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, March 3, 2015 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 4:00 pm.
Gerald was born December 8, 1941 in Cleveland, Ohio, son of the late Robert Smith and the late Carolyn McCracken Smith. He was a graduate of Lakewood High School Class of 1959 and Alumni of Lakewood Little Theater in Lakewood, OH. He was a Pharmaceutical Sales Manager for over 40 years.
He is survived by his spouse, Cheryl Smith of Johns Island, SC; two sons, Vincent Smith of Indianapolis, IN, Eric Smith of Tampa, FL; step-daughter, Nikki Whiteley of Charleston, SC two step-sons, Daniel Whiteley of Greenwood, SC, and Andrew Whiteley of Charleston, SC; three brothers, Dan Smith of Montoursville, PA, Steve Smith of Willoughby, OH, Ted Smith of Cleveland, OH; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Dee Norton Lowcountry Children's Center, 1061 King Street, Charleston, SC 29403.
