Gerald Joseph Quinn

Gerald Joseph Quinn, M.D., 75, husband of Patricia Anne Quinn of Daniel Island, SC passed away suddenly on Monday, April 9, 2012. The relatives and friends of Dr. Gerald Quinn are invited to attend a "Celebration of Life" on Saturday, April 14, 2012 in J. HENRY STUHR MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPER at 12:00 noon. The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at the Mount Pleasant Chapel from 10:00 am until time of the service.

Dr. Quinn was born on September 27, 1936 in Shamokin, Pennsylvania, son of the late Gerald and Bertha Quinn. He served in the United States Navy in Vietnam and was a former member of Sertoma. He received his B.S. degree from Mount St. Mary's College, and attended medical school at Jefferson Medical University in Philadelphia, PA. He was a Doctor of Neurology, starting his private practice in 1967 and then was associated with Roper-St. Francis for over 45 years.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Anne Quinn of Daniel Island, SC; one son, Jeffrey Michael Quinn of Daniel Island, SC; one granddaughter, Lauren Elizabeth Quinn; two sisters, Pat Shanneman and Margaret Mary Wasilewski. He was preceded in death by a son, Brian David Quinn.
