Gerald Allan Lange, 76, of Isle of Palms, South Carolina, husband of the late Carol Jean Zent Lange died Sunday, June 11, 2017. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 16, 2017 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road, Mt. Pleasant from 4:00 until 7:00 pm.

Gerald was born August 16, 1940 in Winamac, Indiana, the only son of the late Harold A. Lange and the late Annamae Paulsen Lange. He was a graduate of Purdue University and served in the Indiana Army National Guard. Gerald was a retired pharmacist and a member of the Indiana Pharmacy Association and the South Carolina Pharmacy Association and also Purdue University Alumni Association. Gerald was an avid sports fan, especially the Chicago Cubs and the Chicago Bears. He was a member of the Isle of Palms Baptist Church.

He is survived by four sons, Andy Lange (Melissa) of Charleston, SC, Brian Lange (Jamie) of Buchanan, MI, Todd Walters (Dee Dee) of West Field, IN, and Tim Walters (Julie) of Brownsburg, IN, and 10 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
