Gerald Gerome Forlaw

Entered into eternal rest Wednesday, August 25, 2010, Gerald Gerome "G.G." Forlaw of James Island, South Carolina.  Funeral services for ""G.G." will be held at J.HENRY STUHR WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, Charleston, Sunday, August 29, 2010 at two o'clock.  Interment will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends at Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel Saturday afternoon from four until six o'clock. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Susan G. Kormen Foundation, in honor of his sister Jennifer, 9302 Medical Plaza Drive, North Charleston, SC 29407 or the Wounded Warrior Project, 7020 AC Skinner Parkway, Suite 100, Jacksonville, FL 32256.

Born December 18, 1955 in Charleston, SC, "G.G." was the son of Gerald Thomas Forlaw and the late Avanelle Lucille McConnell Forlaw.  He served six years in the US Army and was a member of the American Legion, VFW and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He was a Master Electrician, working both Commercial and Residential sites.

Surviving "G.G." are his father: Gerald T. "Jerry" Forlaw of James Island; six sisters: Col. Loretta Forlaw, Judy Cook, Angela Christine Campbell, Jennifer Forlaw Kyle, Charlene Forlaw Hunt and Sandra Gail Forlaw; and several nieces and nephews.
