Georgianna R. Shepherd

Georgianna R. Shepherd, 89, of Summerville, SC, wife of Johnny Shepherd died Monday, July 24, 2017. Her funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 26, 2017 in the Moncks Corner-Oakley Road Ministries Church, 109 Oakley Road at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm in Moncks Corner-Oakley Road Ministries Church. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel.Georgianna was born June 21, 1928 in New Bedford, MA, daughter of the late Anthony Rose Lewis and the late Josephine Marshall Lewis. She was a member of Moncks Corner-Oakley Road Ministries Church.

She is survived by her husband, Johnny Shepherd of Summerville, SC; son, Robert L. Thompkins III and his wife Diana of Goose Creek, SC; two sisters, Margaret Drazic and Frances Smith both of Taunton, MA; three grandchildren: Jessica Thompkins Murphy and her husband Patrick, Erin Conroy and her husband Jimmy, Louie Thompkins and his fianc"e Grace; great-grandchildren: William, Autumn, Dawson, Sadie, Mason, Skylar, McKenna and one on the way. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert C. Thompkins.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Moncks Corner-Oakley Road Ministries Church, 109 Oakley Road, Moncks Corner, SC 29461 and/or SPCA Doc Williams, 109 St. James Avenue, Goose Creek, SC 29445.
