Georgia Mae Hill

Georgia Mae Hill, of Hanahan, South Carolina, widow of Richard McAnany, entered into eternal rest Monday, November 14, 2022. Her Funeral Service will be held Thursday, November 17, 2022 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc. West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Blvd., at 2:00 pm.  The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.  Interment to follow at Live Oak Memorial Gardens on Ashley River Rd. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel.

Georgia was born in Saginaw, Michigan, daughter of the late Ross Gilmore Perrigo, II and Charlotte Trayer Perrigo.  She worked as a driver doing sanitation in the construction industry.  Georgia had many talents, but often enjoyed sewing and gardening.  She was a voracious reader and was all about her grandchildren!  She enjoyed watching programs on the Hallmark Channel, as well as sitting with her grandchildren and watching cartoons and eating candy.  She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.   

She is survived by three daughters, Tammy Judy (Mike), Tracy McGrew (Paul) and Tory LaChance (Vince); eight grandchildren, Perry, Tanya, Tyla, Tommy, Matthew, Felicia, Joey and Patrick; twenty seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; special niece, Yolanda Gray and several other nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Richard McAnany and Jerry Hill; brother, Ross Perrigo, III and sister, Donna Meier.
