George A. Zafiris

George A. Zafiris of Charleston, SC entered into eternal rest.  The relatives and friends  are invited to attend his funeral services in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., West Ashley Chapel Friday, October 8, 2010 at 11:30 am.  Burial will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends Friday morning at Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Pkwy. from 10:30 am until time of service where a Trisagion Service will be recited at 11:00 am.  Memorial gifts may be made to Greek Orthodox Church of The Holy Trinity, 30 Race Street, Charleston, SC  29403. 

Mr. Zafiris was born on November 20, 1948 in Charleston, SC, son of Nick and Patricia Gianaki Gianatos.  George was in sales for over 25 years.  His passion was music and he played with a local band, the Rivieras.  He was a member of Greek Orthodox Church of The Holy Trinity. 

He is survived by his much loved and adored family; a son, Nick Zafiris, his brother, John Gianatos and his wife Mary; numerous nieces,nephews, aunts and cousins.  He is also survived by his friend and former spouse, Connie Zafiris.
