George William MacDonald

George William MacDonald, 62, of Goose Creek, South Carolina, husband of Robin Thrift MacDonald entered into eternal rest Friday, April 8, 2016. His Funeral Service will be held Monday, April 11, 2016 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 12:00 p.m (Noon). Interment will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens . The family will receive friends Monday in Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.

George was born January 3, 1954 in New York, son of the late Alexander J. MacDonald and Evelyn Vallier MacDonald. He was a Veteran of the Vietnam era where he served in Berlin Germany. George was employed as an Environmental Systems Operator with Robert Bosch Corporation for over 40 years.

He is survived by his wife, Robin MacDonald of Goose Creek, SC; two daughters, Alenda Wiesand of Goose Creek, SC, and Amy Justice of GA; son, Joshua MacDonald, of GA; brother, Kenneth Boyd MacDonald; three grandchildren.

The family wishes to send a special thank you to Nancy Cunningham with Hospice Care of America, Dr. John Wrangle and his staff at Hollings Cancer Center, and his family at Robert Bosch Corporation.
