George Earl Thomas, Jr., 71, of Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Sunday, July 7, 2024. His Graveside Service will be held Saturday, July 13, 2024 in Bethany Cemetery, 10 Cunnington Avenue at 9:00 am. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel.

George was born June 5, 1953 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of George E. Thomas and Elizabeth Tiedemann Thomas. He was a Horticulturist. 

He is survived by his sisters, “Sam” Hazel T. Boyd and Jill T. Oliver; cousins Michele Farthing (Walter), Zachary Farthing, Hannah F. Marchant (Avery), and Thomas “Tommy” Samuel; and an extended family.
