George "Sonny" Lowell Crout

George "Sonny" Lowell Crout, Jr., 76, of Isle Of Palms, South Carolina, husband of Frances Mulligan Crout, entered into eternal rest Saturday, July 31, 2021. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, August 7, 2021 in the Isle of Palms Exchange Club at 5:00 pm. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Mount Pleasant Chapel.

Sonny was born December 14, 1944 in Greenwood, South Carolina, son of the late George Lowell Crout and Louise Pinson Crout. He loved his family, friends, coaching, fishing, his farm in Salters, and watching his grandkids play sports.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Frances Crout; his sons, Christopher Kevin Crout (Dena) of Summerville, SC, and Kyle Adrian Crout (Ashlea) of Mt. Pleasant, SC; his sister, Anita Crout Smith of Chapin, SC, and Leah Ann Crout of North Charleston, SC; and 4 grandchildren, Bennett Crout, Caroline Crout, Ryan Crout, and Mason Crout.
