George Rene Loftis, 71, of Goose Creek, SC, died Friday, June 15, 2018. His Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Harbour Lake Baptist Church, 1056 Red Bank Road at 1:00 pm. Interment, Plantation Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road.
George was born June 8, 1947 in Columbia, SC, son of the late James Loftis and the late Anne Lee Cook Loftis. He was a member of Harbour Lake Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by son, Eddie Loftis (Missy) of Summerville, SC; two daughters, Jessica McCormack (Brandon) of Summerville, SC, Amy McIntire (Adam) of Goose Creek, SC; grandchildren: Amber, Katie, Emily, Eddie, Hannah, Mason and Ashley and one great-grandchild on the way. He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Shealy Loftis.
