George Kevin Holroyd, son of George Easterling Holroyd and Frances Martin Holroyd Fernald entered into eternal rest on March 7, 2023.  Services will be held at Yeaman’s Park Presbyterian Church, 5931 Murray Drive, Hanahan, SC  29410.  A light reception and visitation will follow the service in the church hall.  

Kevin was born in Columbia, SC and graduated from Merritt Island High School, Merritt Island, FL and attended Clemson University.  Kevin loved to walk with his mother on the beach of Sullivan’s Island and in downtown Charleston and had a lifelong love for going to the library. He loved family and rarely missed a family gathering.  He had a heart for caregiving and delighted in caring for his grandmother and visiting other members of the family when they were ill.  Kevin worked locally for many years in the food and beverage industry including Hominy Grill, Page's Okra Grill, Minero’s, and most recently at Delaney’s Oyster House, a part of the Neighborhood Dining Group.  

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Paul Fernald of Cocoa Beach, FL; his brother Keith Martin Holroyd and nephew, James Maddox Holroyd, both of Mount Pleasant, SC; and numerous cousins that held him dear.
