George Lamarr Beach

Entered into eternal rest on the afternoon of November 15, 2010, George Lamarr Beach, Jr., husband of Gloria Harley Beach.  Residence, Johns Island, South Carolina.  The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Beach are invited to attend his funeral services at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL Thursday, November 18, 2010 at two o'clock.  Burial will follow in Carolina Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends at Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway Wednesday afternoon from five until seven o'clock.

Mr. Beach was born on August 16, 1934 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of the late George Lamarr Beach, Sr. and the late Myrtle Miller Beach.  He was a U.S. Army veteran and was a retired carpenter with the Charleston VA Medical Center.

Surviving are his wife Gloria of Johns Island; daughter, Wendy Egolf of Johns Island; three grandchildren, Megan Sawyer Ripley of Charleston, Cameron Sawyer of Charleston and Carson Egolf of Snow Hill, MD.
